ZHI’s Steel Fabrication division is the corner stone of our organization and has been in the metal fabrication industry for over 20 years.

ZHI’s products include the following:

ZHI has the capability to roll Pressure Vessels from 500mm to 6m in diameter and up to 150mm plate thickness in Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel within our modern fabrication complex using the latest rolling, welding, cutting, shearing and break- press techniques. To complement our own dish ends, ranging from 500mm to 5m in diameter and 25.4mm plate thickness. Larger Pressure Vessels and Storage Tanks are pre-rolled and site erected with ZHI’s experienced work force throughout the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The pressure vessels fabricated by ZHI are typically designed to ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 or Div. 2, BS 5500, DIN, as well as other international standards specified by our clinets.

ZHI fabricates Shop Built Storage Tanks / Site Built Storage Tanks and Silos to API 620/650 and AWWA. Structural Steel Works are designed to AISC.

ZHI has a very modern and environmentally friendly totally enclosed Blasting and painting Facility to fulfill our fabrication capabilities.

At ZHI, we consider Quality and On-Time Delivery of our products to be the most important aspect of our fabrication process. Our in-house QA/QC Program is ISO 9001-2000 certified and we employ a full compliment of level II and Level III inspectors to perform all required NON-Destructive Examinations (NDE) here at our factory.

All testing is performed with modern state-of-the-art equipment, and is carefully documented so as to provide our clients complete and comprehensive quality assurance packages with all of our products.

ZHI’s Engineering Department has the ability and experience to produce design calculations, fabrication / erection drawings to all international standards with state of art CAD and design analysis software.

ZHI’s contracts are closely managed by highly Project Managers and Engineers who insure the smooth progress of operations from the onset of each project through engineering, procurement, fabrication, final acceptance and delivery. The Project Management System is in strict accordance with our ISO 9001-2000 certification.

In the early 1980’s, ZHI was appointed as the exclusive agent and authorized fabricator of Munck Cranes International under license from the Ministry of Industry and Electricity

Munck has earned its reputation for quality cranes through 70 years of manufacturing experience. Munck cranes are divided into four basic lines:

Standard Overhead Traveling Cranes:

Monobeam/ box and Duobeam/ box Capacity ranging from ½ ton to 60 tons Upto 40 meters in span.

These are custom built pre-engineered cranes, which incorporate standard proven parts to assure the customer of long term performance and reliability. Due to standard design, spare parts are readily available on short notice minimizing down time.

With the ongoing modernization of the loading facilities in Saudi Arabia, ZHI took the initiative and was the first company in Saudi Arabia to convert existing trucks tankers to pneumatic bottom loading systems.
