In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah,
the cherisher and sustainer of the worlds; peace and blessing upon Mohammad,
his last prophet and messenger sent in mercy to mankind.
Allah SWT said:
"We
sent aforetime our messengers with clear signs and sent down with them the
book & the balance (of right and wrong), that men may stand forth in
justice: and we sent down iron, in which is great might, as well as many
benefits for, mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, unseen,
him & his messenger: for Allah is full of strength exalted in might"
When I started to
write this introduction, I presumed that it would be a simple and straight
forward message, to the contrary, my thoughts draw me to the mid 60s and
early 70s when I initiated the thought of establishing this facility for
the purpose of becoming sufficient in supplying the required spares for
the heavy machineries in the road construction projects that I had worked
with.
What a difference
between an industrial past that lacked all the necessary technology, which
could not meet the expectations of time due to lack of technical, financial
and effective man power resources & a promising present, in which
there is a predominant and distinguished representation of capabilities
on an international scale. This could not have happened with out the grace
of Allah and the sincere efforts provided by the leadership of this country with
their wise planning and continuous support.
It is therefore not
surprising to see how our National Industries have evolved and progressed
as a result of these past efforts. For industry in general is considered
as the principal sector in which any economy is sustained and is deemed
as the true nourishment of its development and true scale by which its
progress is measured.
Taking into account
all the past events, Al Zamil Heavy Industries took the initiative and
focused its attention on the development of its future strategies and
plans to meet the progressive demands of the ever expanding market requirements
not only locally, but internationally as well. This gave us the opportunity
to participate with pride in the design and construction ourselves to
look to the future with tremendous optimism & enthusiasm utilizing the knowledge &
skills that we have developed with in our company which will enable us to achieve our long term growth
and corporate objectives
as we enter the new millennium.
